WOLCF was established in January 2011 shortly after the passing of William Lockridge in his memory but more importantly, as a community’s passion to keep his legacy alive. He was passionate about the importance of education in today’s society, specifically, education equality in Wards 7 and 8. In this spirit, the WOLCF’s sole mission is to offer financial and educational resources to students attending schools in Wards 7 and 8. Over the past six years, WOLCF is proud to announce the allocation of approximately $83,000 in college scholarships.
